Condensed

The piece "Campbell's Soup Can" by Andy Warhol is not just an option for lunch, but a statement about being able to express yourself. This can of soup holds the ideals that speaking your mind and expressing your opinions is the right thing to do, no matter what anyone says.
This piece really doesn't look like anything special by any stretch of the imagination. It's a soup can, and on top of that, it's tomato. Who wants plain tomato soup? This piece came out of no where, and like most things that aren't transparently obvious, people judged it. This piece is simple. But the thing that makes it amazing to me is the word condensed. This piece has so much packed into it.
I chose this piece by Andy Warhol because I really believe that this it is more that what it seems. Warhol went through hell when he started off, and through out his life from his less than 'the norm' life style. This soup can isn't just soup, it's many things condensed into a small container.
